Gantry Crane for Tunnel Boring Machine

Tunnel boring machine (TBM) with shield can lay shields (tunnel plates) during the boring of tunnel, which is different from the open style tunnel boring machine.

Gantry crane for tunnel boring machine with shield is mainly employed to lift the cutter and shield plate of tunnel boring machine. The lifting mechanism of this gantry crane is rotatable for different digging direction. It is designed with safety instructions and overload protection device system. PLC frequency conversion adjustment system makes it easy to control every mechanism.

1. Spreader is with 360° rotation which is flexible for installation of cutter from different angles;

2. Double trolley mechanism is applied for lifting cutter by double trolley or lifting duct piece by single trolley;
